As CEO of VelixFlame Dynamics, Felcini leads a team of engineers, researchers, and innovators focused on advancing high-performance propulsion systems, intelligent energy solutions, and autonomous industrial platforms. Since taking the role in 2021, her priority has been to scale the technology from specialized applications into broader commercial and strategic markets.

Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Dynamics & Thermal Systems) from ETH Zurich. 18+ years in aerospace systems and energy technology.

Dr. Marcus Kane

Chief Technology Officer

Marcus oversees the technical vision and R&D roadmap. Responsible for the core technology platforms including the VF-Series thrusters and the Aether energy management system.

Sofia ensures operational excellence across engineering, production, and international partnerships between Europe and North America.

Head of Propulsion Engineering

Leads the propulsion systems team responsible for the design, testing and qualification of the VF-Series thruster modules. Background in high-performance thermal and fluid systems.

Heads the research group exploring next-generation materials, advanced thermal architectures and novel propulsion concepts in collaboration with European research institutions.

Senior Systems Engineer

Systems architecture and integration lead for complex multi-domain programs spanning propulsion, energy and autonomy subsystems.

Leads the software organization building control software, simulation frameworks and the Aether energy management platform.

Autonomy Software Lead

Responsible for the industrial autonomy stack, real-time decision systems and integration of perception and control software.

Manages corporate IT, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms and secure connectivity between Zurich and Houston sites.

Leads information security, risk management and secure development practices across the company. Ensures protection of intellectual property and operational systems.
